The tyre and general rubber goods industry represents 4.200 companies, which employ 360 000 people in EU27. All together they generate a turnover exceeding € 47 b. The product range of our members is extensive from tyres, construction and automotive rubber goods to pharmaceutical, baby care, etc.
EGEC, the European Geothermal Energy Council, was founded in 1998 as an international non-profit association in Brussels. Its office is based nearby the European Institutions in the Renewable Energy House.
EGEC has now more than 110 members from 22 European countries: private companies, national associations, consultants, research centers, geological surveys and other public authorities.
