ESF

The European Science Foundation (ESF) is an association of 80 member organisations devoted to scientific research in 30 European countries. Since we were established in 1974, we have coordinated a wide range of pan-European scientific initiatives, and our flexible organisation structure means we can respond quickly to new developments.

ESF's core purpose is to promote high quality science at a European level.

EBRA

Founded in 1998, EBRA acts for and on behalf of its members at the EU level to promote the development of collection, treatment, sorting and recycling of sent batteries.

Their objectives:
• Encouraging the activities and the flow of information concerning the techniques fo collection, sorting, treatment, and recycling.
• Developing a dialog with the Administrations at the European level, in each Member State, and with the battery industry.
• Establishing standards for the quality of treatment and recycling.

ESN - Erasmus Student Network

Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is one of the biggest interdisciplinary student associations in Europe, founded in 1990 for supporting and developing student exchange. The network is present in 297 Higher Education Institutions from 32 countries. It is constantly developing and expanding. ESN works for the creation of a more mobile and flexible education environment by supporting and developing the student exchange from different levels, and providing an intercultural experience also to those students who cannot access a period abroad ("internationalisation at home")

GERG - the European Gas Research Group

GERG, the European Gas Research Group, is a research and development organisation with a unique role in Europe, in that it provides both support and stimulus for the technological innovation necessary to ensure that the European gas industry can rise to meet the technological challenges of the new century. GERG was founded in 1961 to strengthen the gas industry within the European Community and it achieves this by promoting research and technological innovation in all aspects of the gas chain.

EurEau - European Federation of National Associations of Water & Waste Water Services

EUREAU is the European federation of national associations of drinking water suppliers and waste water services. EUREAU’s members represent more than 10.000 drinking water & waste water utilities across Europe that provide sustainable water services to more than 400 million European citizens.

NURSING AND MIDWIFERY COUNCIL

The Nursing and Midwifery Council exists to safeguard the health and wellbeing of the public.

* We register all nurses and midwives and ensure that they are properly qualified and competent to work in the UK.
* We set the standards of education, training and conduct that nurses and midwives need to deliver high quality healthcare consistently throughout their careers.
