Ahead of the second round of the Presidential Elections in Cyprus, the political group of the European United Left/Nordic Green Left expresses its support to Stavros Malas and the forces rallying around his candidature and its solidarity to the Cypriot people.

The European Parliament's environment committee today voted to approve a proposal from the European Commission aimed at tackling the oversupply of emissions allowances in the EU's emissions trading scheme (1).
