EUK Consulting is looking for a motivated trainee to join our Brussels public affairs consultancy for a 6-month paid internship.
EUK is a highly experienced, specialised and talented public affairs consultancy, assisting our clients in managing regulation, reputation and stakeholder relationships. With offices in London and Brussels, we offer a comprehensive consultancy service through all stages of the corporate affairs and regulatory management process; from intelligence, interpretation and foresight to counsel, planning, and implementation support.
The successful candidate will work closely with the EUK Brussels team to:
- Monitor legislative activities and media trends
- Write concise notes for internal and external use
- Provide reports to clients in a timely manner
- Analyse political developments
- Attend and report on events
Deadline for applications: Friday 9th May 2025
Start: As soon as possible
Duration: 6 months.
Place of work: Our offices in Brussels, with provision for home working
The ideal candidate for the internship brings:
- A good level of education in relevant fields – e.g. EU Affairs, International Relations, law, political science, etc.
- Experience working with or in the EU institutions, national governments, consultancies, associations/federations (desirable but not mandatory)
- Full professional proficiency in English, with working knowledge of another EU official language; French is an asset
- Interest in the inner workings of the EU
- A flair for drafting analyses and background research
