About Us:
CONEBI represents the Bicycle, E-Bikes and Parts & Accessories Industries at European level, working on a wide variety of EU regulations, policy and standards related to vehicles, industry, transport, internal market and ESG policies. CONEBI is located in Brussels.
We are currently seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Communications and Events Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about communications, social media and graphics, events.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Website:
- Support the update of the CONEBI website using WordPress.
- Upload newsletters and position papers.
- Make small edits to the Website as needed.
2. Social Media:
- Support the CONEBI team in, and contribute to, the CONEBI LinkedIn account.
- Draft and post content together with the CONEBI team
3. Newsletter:
- Support the CONEBI team in the monthly CONEBI newsletters
- Support the CONEBI team in the newsletter recipient list using Mailchimp.
4. Media Monitoring:
- Monitor a list of media outlets for relevant news.
5. Presentations:
- Support the CONEBI team by editing pictures and proposing visual layouts for external and internal communication documents
6. Events and meeting organization support:
- Assist the team where needed in organizing and preparing communications, including for meetings and events.
- Draft minutes and meeting reports where needed.
Qualifications:
- Ideally, you have already gathered experience in the field of communications and/or events through internships or volunteering.
- A relevant completed degree.
- Excellent written and oral English skills. Other languages are appreciated.
- Able to use the Microsoft package (including PowerPoint and Excel) as well as Mailchimp and graphic tools like Canva, Photoshop and others.

3. Affinity for communications, graphic editing, proofreading
4. Excellent written communication skills in English.
5. Enjoys taking on new challenges and balancing several tasks at once.
Remuneration:
The position is paid. Remuneration in line with Brussels Capital Region internship laws.
