logos public affairs is looking to recruit a Sustainability Manager to join its fast-developing SEM (Susbtainabilty, Environment, Mobility) practice, a growing team of policy experts working with high-profile clients from the industry on topics related to sustainability and environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the company’s management, this senior position will concentrate on supervising and leading project teams and client relationships with industry associations within our client portfolio. As a Manager, you will be part of a team responsible for the quality delivery, growth and expansion of products and services within the assigned client portfolio.

  • Managing consultants serving our association clients
  • Advising clients’ leadership on strategic association aspects (budgeting, governance, ways of working, business model, strategy etc.)
  • Supervise the organisation of associations’ main events and working group meetings
  • Lead project implementation based on clients’ roadmap and deliverables, resource availability, and other project requirements (i.e., budget)
  • Guide clients and their evolving needs to grow sustainable, mutually beneficial relationships based on a thorough understanding of their current and future business environment
  • Maintain and expand existing business relationships in line with overall logos’ sales and marketing strategy

 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

Experience

  • At least 4 to 6 years of experience in association management, preferably in relation to the sustainability policy area (environment circular economy, climate change)

Skills

  • Intellectual curiosity, ability and will to dive into technical topics
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and understanding of the factors involved in client decision-making processes for consultancy services
  • Creative approach to problem-solving
  • People management skills: strong ability to manage and motivate team members, ability to coach and guide younger colleagues, team player
  • Project management skills: time management, process-oriented, attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines, understanding client requests and supplier needs, ablility to manage a budget and meet KPI’s
  • Fluent written and spoken English (native speaker or equivalent); command of another European language is a must
  • Eligible to work in the EU
