European Projects Assistant
As a European Projects Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting and executing social media campaigns and newsletters to promote EU projects. You will also assist in project reporting and support senior team members with various project activities, ensuring their successful implementation.
Your tasks:
- Manage and monitor social media campaigns (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram) and track paid ads, including budget management and invoice documentation.
- Create and publish project newsletters and promotional content, including designing graphics on Canva.
- Report on social media activity and project updates for technical reporting to the European Commission.
- Brainstorm and implement creative social media campaigns, using tools like Canva, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, and Hootsuite for campaign management and reporting.
- Provide administrative support to the European Projects team as needed, assisting with both project implementation and proposal submission.
Ideal profile:
- University degree in European affairs, project management, communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in EU affairs and understanding of the European project landscape.
- Experience with social media platforms and digital communication tools.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English; other European languages (especially French or German) are a plus.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics is a bonus.

- 6-month to 1-year contract under Belgian law (CIP) - paid internship. First 6 months’ salary of 1.120€. Second 6 months’ salary of 1.400€;
