logos public affairs is looking to recruit a DSA Manager to join its fast-developing Defence, Space & Aviation (DSA) practice. The manger will join a growing team of policy experts working with high-profile clients from the industry on topics related to defence, space and aviation policy. logos is an advocacy and communication agency. Job description

 

Reporting to the company’s top management, this senior position will concentrate on supervising and leading teams in relation to client-related advocacy and engagement activities, as well as the management of relationships with actual and potential international clients. The manager will be part of a team responsible for the quality delivery, growth and expansion of products and services within the corporate & association client portfolio assigned. The manager will be an integral member of the account management team.

 

The manager will work closely with the team, and the main duties will be the following:

 

· Special focus on aviation policy:

o Managing key company accounts (associations and corporate) and leading a team of consultants

o Direct liaison with clients and managing contractual relationships Building and managing a network of contacts with relevance to the defence, space and aviation domain

o Attending key policy events and gathering insights

o Drafting policy briefings and public affairs strategy document

· Contribute to client meetings and project management;

· Conduct research on various topics and analyse the impact on clients’ business;

· Support business development and marketing strategy;

· Working closely with communication colleagues on delivering policy events, when required.

 

The successful candidate

· 5 years of relevant experience e.g. consultancy, relevant trade association, aviation ATM/UTM, or SDO, EU institutions,

· Fluent written and excellent spoken English (native speaker or equivalent),

· Previous consultancy and/or association experience considered an advantage,

· Project Management skills: time management, process-oriented, attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines, understanding client requests and supplier needs,

· Has a good understanding of EU decision-making process; knowledge of international decision making in the aviation field is a district advantage (e.g. ASTM, SAE, ICAO),

· Entrepreneurial spirit and understanding of the factors involved in client decision-making processes for consultancy services,

· Willingness to dive into technical topics to support the team’s knowledge and the client’s needs,

· Ability to present complex technical matters in a simple way and to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders,

· Ability to work individually, as well as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment,

· Available to join the team rapidly (mid-March 2025),

· Is eligible to work in the EU.
