- Grow the premium content subscription business by conducting sales meetings with senior executives working in EU Affairs
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities to achieve sales results
- Give presentations and offering product demos and proposals to meet prospective clients’ needs
- Closely monitor EU Affairs policy trends that are relevant to your prospective clients
- Monitor results according to budget expectations
Person specification: knowledge and experience
- Experience in business development including B2B sales
- An excellent level of written and spoken English
- Excellent communication skills to make presentations to relevant stakeholders
- Negotiation skills that will result in securing commercial partnerships
- Strong understanding of EU Affairs market and its players (corporations, institutions, think tanks, foundations and NGOs)
- Track record of business development and experience with CRM tools is preferred
- You are an effective communicator.
- You’re a great listener and give enough space to the clients to express their needs.
- You’re able to put yourself in clients’ shoes.
- You can think quickly and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Purpose-driven and motivated by challenging targets and results
- Self-discipline with strong organisational skills and strategic thinking
- Excellent social, communication, and networking skills combined with great team spirit, and a hands-on, solutions-driven work mentality
- Willingness to learn about the media industry and media business
