EAHAD is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join its team on a full-time basis. The Project Coordinator will be reporting directly to the EAHAD Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

About EAHAD

Founded in 2007, the European Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders (EAHAD) is a not-for-profit membership organisation that seeks to improve care for people with haemophilia and other bleeding disorders through research, knowledge dissemination and multidisciplinary collaboration. Its members include haematologists, internists, paediatricians, nurses, physiotherapists, psychosocial professionals, laboratory scientists and researchers from across Europe. EAHAD is registered as an international not-for-profit association (AISBL) under Belgian law with the registration number 0718.594.509.

Role

The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the coordination and execution of the association’s projects, from preliminary planning to completion. The selected candidate will coordinate with the members of the EAHAD Committees and Working Groups to deliver projects on time, within budget and with the desired outcomes. They will also oversee the day-to-day management of EUHASS, EAHAD’s pharmacovigilance programme for inherited bleeding disorders.

Main Responsibilities

  • Help determine and define scope and objectives of projects.
  • Support the development and management of a detailed project work plan and schedule.
  • Monitor progress and propose adjustments as needed.
  • Measure performance and identify areas for potential improvement.
  • Liaise with project partners.
  • Plan, prioritise and organise resources on daily, weekly and monthly basis to meet planned objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate internal and external project communication and meetings.

Candidate Profile

Essential

  • 2–4 years’ experience in project coordination, ideally in the not-for-profit or healthcare sector
  • Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent)
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills, including time management and multi-tasking
  • Experience in working with structured data (e.g. maintaining databases, managing reporting inputs, following up with contributors)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Eagerness to adapt and take initiative in a small team setting where tasks and priorities may shift based on organisational needs
  • Ability to legally work in Belgium.

Desirable

  • Experience working in medical, scientific, or public health environments
  • Familiarity with pharmacovigilance systems, safety reporting, or health surveillance initiatives
  • Proficiency in additional European languages
  • Experience in report writing, editing, or preparing structured summaries
  • Understanding of processes for planning and controlling project budgets and contracts
  • Willingness to travel and work outside normal hours around events when necessary
