Operations and Membership Officer

To strengthen our team in Brussels, we are looking for:
Operations and Membership Officer (full-time position), with a talent for communication
Your Role
Operations and Administration
- Handle general office administration and maintain smooth daily operations.
- Oversee financial tasks, including payroll, expense reimbursements, and budget tracking.
- Coordinate with payroll services, tax advisors, and banks as necessary.
- Organise meetings in Brussels and throughout Europe.
- Manage agendas by planning and coordinating internal and external appointments.
Membership Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for members, maintaining databases and distribution lists.
- Support the organisation of General Assemblies, Board Meetings, and Working Group meetings (both physical and online).
Additional Support
Assist with E.V.V.E.’s communication and outreach strategy by:
- Managing and updating the association’s website.
- Creating content for and managing social media channels.
- Assisting with event planning and execution.
Your Profile
You bring 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role in trade associations, public administration, think tanks, NGOs, or SMEs.
We are looking for someone who has:
- The ambition to make a difference and contribute to making the energy transition a reality.
- Interest in energy efficiency and water resilience topics.
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a strong asset.
- Outstanding organisational skills and a strong eye for detail.
- Solid numerical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including working effectively with C-level executives.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting a variety of tasks.
- A willingness to develop communication skills (prior experience in communications is not required; we will support your growth).
