Communications Officer
The European Biogas Association (EBA) aims to ensure the full rollout of renewable gas in Europe. We are a growing association representing over 300 members spanning 35 countries. As part of our continuous growth, we are seeking to employ an enthusiastic and motivated Communications Officer on a full-time and permanent basis.
The role
You will be part of a dynamic team of communication and event experts working on exciting projects and campaigns to enhance the visibility of the biogas sector. You will help develop impactful marketing & communication campaigns and strategies, build compelling narratives and ensure consistent branding and messaging across all communication platforms.
This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ensuring you drive impact from ideation to delivery on digital communications with a strong focus on new media, design and video editing. If you thrive in developing creative solutions, this position is made for you.

Your day-to-day adventures
You will play an active role on the implementation of EBA’s outreach strategy, including:
- Conception and realisation of innovative digital campaigns across various channels in cooperation with other colleagues.
- Design of impactful publications, presentations, multimedia content and other promotional materials to enhance the visibility of the sector.
- Support the elaboration of high-quality content that resonates with target audiences and improves understanding on the sector, including mailings, newsletters, website and campaign materials.
- Support the organisation of events, webinars, and conferences.
- Carrying out communication and dissemination actions in multiple EU projects working closely with a variety of partners across Europe.

- You are a solutions-driven and flexible team player.
- You are a pro on written and verbal communication skills in English (native level).
- You can translate proposals into actionable marketing & communication written or audiovisual materials.
- You are a natural in creating compelling content for a variety of audiences.
- You are passionate about crafting creative concepts and bringing them to life.
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a professional association or agency setting and a Degree in Multimedia Communications, Digital Marketing, or similar.
- Proficiency in management of design and video editing digital tools is a must (InDesign, Illustrator, WordPress, Video editing, Hubspot, Canva, etc).
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deliver outstanding work under tight deadlines is required.
- You are eligible to work in the EU.
