The Role:

As a Marketing & Communications Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team of marketing & communication experts and have the opportunity to lead exciting projects and campaigns that enhance our clients’ visibility, engagement, and membership growth. You will work closely with our Association Management team to develop and implement impactful marketing & communication strategies, build compelling narratives and content tailored for different associations, and ensure consistent branding and messaging across all communication platforms.

This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ensuring you drive impact from ideation to delivery. If you thrive in client-facing roles and enjoy developing creative solutions, this position is made for you.

Your Day-to-Day Adventures:

Client Strategy & Consultation:

  • Work directly with our clients – international associations across diverse sectors or professional fields – to understand their marketing and communication needs and design marketing & communication strategies that meet their goals.

Creative Campaigns:

  • Design and manage the implementation of innovative, client-specific campaigns across various digital channels.
  • Develop marketing collateral, presentations, and other promotional materials to support the association’s programs and events.

Content Development:

  • Create high-quality content that resonates with target audiences, including blogs, newsletters, case studies, social media content, and campaign materials.
  • Manage the clients’ website and social media platforms, ensuring fresh and compelling content.

Event Marketing:

  • Define pre-, during and post-event messaging for association events, webinars, and conferences, including managing event-specific marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with event teams to maximize audience participation and engagement.

Data & Insights:

  • Analyse campaign performance, leveraging data to optimise future marketing efforts and generate reports for clients.

Project Management:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client objectives.

Budget Management:

  • Manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial goals.

Collaboration:

  • Work with internal teams to ensure seamless execution across all channels and touchpoints.

What Makes You a Perfect Fit?

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills (UK and US English).
  • Strategic Thinker: You can translate client goals into actionable marketing & communication plans.
  • Client-Centric: You excel at building and maintaining client relationships, with strong communication and presentation skills, and you are a natural at translating client feedback into concrete actions.
  • Copywriting: You can create compelling content for a variety of audiences and are proficient in building narratives.
  • Creative Vision: You are passionate about crafting compelling concepts and bringing them to life.
  • Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in a professional association or agency setting.
  • Marketing Expertise: Proficiency in campaign management, digital tools (Mailchimp, WordPress, MS Office), analytics tools and content creation.
  • Project Management: Ability to juggle multiple projects and deliver outstanding work under tight deadlines.
  • Data-driven: You understand the importance of data and insights to refine strategies and demonstrate success.
  • Eligibility: You are eligible to work in the EU.
  • Flexibility: You are willing to travel internationally for our clients’ events and meetings.
