About the EU FPC
The EU FPC unites civil society organizations to advocate for sustainable food systems in the EU. It focuses on policy integration, coordinating efforts to monitor the political agenda, and influencing decision-making for systemic change.

Job Purpose
The Coordinator will develop and implement the strategic plan for the Coalition, oversee activities of its 60 member organizations, and manage a small team (Project Manager and Communications Officer).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Coalition’s strategic plan with member support
  • Coordinate internal and external activities and events
  • Engage with EU decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Monitor EU food policy developments to identify advocacy opportunities
  • Organize Executive Board and General Assembly meetings
  • Manage communications with stakeholders
  • Foster synergies with other platforms and explore new alliances
  • Lead fundraising efforts and support grant development
  • Oversee project and office management of the Secretariat

Skills and Experience Required

  • Master's degree relevant to the role
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience
  • Knowledge of EU decision-making and food policy
  • Advocacy experience in the EU, preferably in civil society
  • Fundraising, project management, and leadership experience
  • Fluent in English (C1), other languages (Spanish, French, etc.) are a plus
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Experience in participatory approaches and Microsoft Office proficiency
