The European Cocoa Association is looking for a Communication & Administrative Manager. Based in Brussels, occasional business travel within the EU might be required. The ideal starting date is as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

  1. Information and communication management
    • Manage ECA’s communication activities, i.e. social media, website, monthly newsletters, promotional materials, Grind Stats
    • Manage event and meeting organisation (2025 ECA Forum included)
  2. Administrative management
    • Daily office management
    • Manage ECA’s databases
    • Manage ECA’s physical and online records
    • Manage travel arrangements
    • Proofread documents in English
    • Manage Memberships (application process)
    • Support the Finance Manager with payments (FALCO software), budget preparation
    • Support the ECA Team as deemed necessary

Requirements

  • University    degree    or    equivalent,   preferably   in   Communication, Business Administration, International Affairs
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in event and communication management. Prior experience in administration & finance is an advantage
  • Native or near-native level of English proficiency and professional proficiency in French
  • Affinity with and knowledge of the EU/institutions is an advantage
  • Strong organisational skills; ability to work both autonomously and in a team
  • Full IT proficiency (incl. MS office 365)
