The ESPON EGTC is recruiting a Legal advisor on Contracts and Public Procurement.

As a Legal advisor on Contracts and Public Procurement you will be responsible for being the main source of competence in public procurement and contracting matters at the ESPON EGTC, providing legal expertise to ensure compliance of ESPON EGTC’s work with the rules of the ESPON Programme and with the relevant EU and Luxembourgish regulations and specifications. 

Educational background and technical skills: 

  • You hold a University degree in Law or equivalent. A Diploma or Certificate in Public Procurement will be considered as an advantage.   
  • You have 7 years of experience in the field of public procurement and contracts (Applicants with less experience can be considered if they can demonstrate other relevant experience). Experience in particular in the Luxembourgish public procurement, labour and data protection law will be considered as an advantage. 
  • You have good knowledge of EU public procurement law. You are fluent in English and in French language to draw up written analyses and propose effective solutions based on the interpretation of the laws, regulations and specifications.

  • A brief letter (maximum 2 pages) expressing the motivation and expectations as well as the qualifications and experience in relation to the post.  
  • A curriculum vitae (preferably in Europass format) including the main details of the professional experience and educational background as well as the personal and language skills.
