JOB OVERVIEW

At KOMIS, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual, splitting their time between two vital departments: Human Resources and Business Development. The successful candidate will operate under two separate supervisors, with distinct responsibilities in each department, ensuring a diverse and enriching work experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

HR:

  • HR Planning: Assist in developing workforce plans and strategies for talent attraction, development, and retention.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Support the creation and posting of job descriptions, manage the first screening of applications and respond to candidates, assist with interviews, and support the onboarding process.
  • Training and Development: Support the evaluation of training needs, development of training programs, and the organisation and delivery of training sessions.
  • Employee Relations: Provide support in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Health and Safety: Contribute to the update of the prevention plan and its implementation to ensure a safe workplace environment.

Business Development:

  • Experts Sourcing: Engage in identifying and vetting potential new experts to meet project needs.
  • Experts Roster: Help maintain and update the expert database and ensure all supporting documents are current and accurate.
  • Technical support: Provide support in the preparation of KOMIS personnel administrative documents for tenders submission

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Capacity to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing work environment.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Valid working permit for Belgium.

ASSETS

  • Proven experience in HR or Business Development roles with a focus on the tasks listed above.
  • Working knowledge of Spanish.
