die Bayerische Forschungsallianz (BayFOR), eine Gesellschaft, die bayerische Akteure aus Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft umfassend bei der Einwerbung von europäischen und internationalen Forschungs- und Innovationsmitteln unterstützt, und dabei das Ziel verfolgt, den Wissenschafts- und Innovationsstandort Bayern im Forschungsraum Europa fortzuentwickeln. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf dem aktuellen Rahmenprogramm für Forschung und Innovation der EU (Horizon Europe). UNSERE AUFGABEN …

sind die Förderberatung und Antragsunterstützung zur erfolgreichen Beteiligung an europäischen Förderprogrammen für Forschung und Innovation sowie die Interessenvertretung unserer Partner direkt vor Ort in Brüssel. Darüber hinaus ist die BayFOR Partner in dem von der Europäischen Union anteilig geförderten Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). Das EEN unterstützt kleine und mittlere Unternehmen bei der Beantragung von europäischen Fördermitteln und vermittelt sie mit europäischen Partnern für Forschungs- und Innovationsprojekte.

UAS4EUROPE…

ist ein informelles Netzwerk (https://uas4europe.eu), das 150 Hochschulen für angewandte Wissenschaften (HAWs) und Technische Hochschulen (THs) im Europäischen Forschungsraum (EFR) repräsentiert. Das Netzwerk setzt sich dafür ein, die Position und Sichtbarkeit der HAWs/THs in der europäischen Forschungs- und Innovationslandschaft zu stärken. Die aktuellen Mitglieder sind ARENE (Finnland), Danske Professionshøjskoler (Dänemark), Hochschulallianz für den Mittelstand e.V., Hochschule Bayern e.V., Hochschulen für Angewandte Wissenschaften Baden-Württemberg e.V., die Österreichische Fachhochschulkonferenz, Swissuniversities und Vereniging Hogescholen (Niederlande). Im Sinne der organisatorischen Kohärenz durch die kontinuierliche Unterstützung der Gremien des Netzwerks (Generalversammlung, Exekutivkomitee, Managementkomitee), sucht UAS4EUROPE einen

Referenten (w/m/d) für die Koordination in Teilzeit (19 Wochenstunden), mit Sitz in Brüssel und Bereitschaft zum Arbeitsantritt im Januar 2025

VERANTWORTLICHKEITEN UND AUFGABEN

• Implementierung der strategischen Ausrichtung des Netzwerks, wie von der Generalversammlung festgelegt
• Koordination der Initiativen und Aktivitäten von UAS4EUROPE
• Vertretung von UAS4EUROPE auf Arbeitsebene (z.B. Delegationsbesuche in Brüssel)
• Hauptansprechpartner für die Mitglieder des Netzwerks
• Allgemeine Verwaltung des Netzwerks (Vorbereitung und Überwachung der jährlichen Budgets, Vorbereitung der Sitzungen des Managementkomitees und der Generalversammlung in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Exekutivkomitee, Pflege der Social Media- und Website-Präsenz, Unterstützung des Exekutivkomitees)

WE ARE …

the Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR, a company that provides comprehensive support to Bavarian stakeholders from science and industry in acquiring European and international research and innovation funding, with the aim of further developing Bavaria as a location for science and innovation in the European Research Area. The focus is directed at the EU’s current framework programme for research an innovation (Horizon Europe). BayFOR is one of four partner organisations in the Bavarian Research and Innovation Agency (www.research-innovation-bavaria.de) and is funded by the Free State of Bavaria.

OUR MISSION …

includes providing EU funding advisory services and application support for a successful participation in European funding programmes for research and innovation. We also represent our partners’ interests directly on site in Brussels. Furthermore, BayFOR is a partner in the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), which is partially funded by the European Union. EEN supports small and medium-sized enterprises in applying for European funding and connects them with European partners for research and innovation projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

• Implementation of the strategic orientation of the network as defined by the General Assembly
• Coordination of UAS4EUROPE initiatives and activities
• Representation of UAS4EUROPE at working level (e.g. delegation visits to Brussels)
• Main contact for the members of the network
• General administration of the network (preparation and monitoring of annual budgets, preparation of Management Committee and General Assembly meetings, in collaboration with the Executive Committee, maintenance of social media channels and website, support for the Executive Committee)
• Organisation and implementation of events and conferences
• Willingness to live and work in Brussels for at least two years, with the possibility of extension
