European Affairs Policy Officer
Under the responsibility of the General Delegate of EFFE, the European Affairs Policy Officer's main missions will be to support the actions carried out by the Federation to ensure the emergence, visibility, reputation, and representation of the domestic & home care sector and the users-employers in Europe and internationally.
Through your actions, you will:
- Analyze European policies and identify their consequences on the domestic & home care sector and the European Federation and its members;
- Contribute to the implementation of the EFFE strategy;
- Help develop the visibility of the European Federation.
This is achieved through several main tasks:
- Implement the influence strategy for EFFE
- Ensure visibility
- Project Management
Your assets for success
- Eligibility for the VIE program (nationality and age; check My International Volunteer Service: official V.I.E | V.I.A website (businessfrance.fr) to see if you are eligible);
- A Master's degree in a relevant field (European affairs, etc.) is required;
- Experience in similar positions is highly appreciated;
- Excellent organizational and project management skills;
- Good writing, listening, analytical, and synthesis skills;
- Maintain existing partnerships and identify, mobilize, and develop new partnerships;
- Good understanding of key EU policymakers and actors, decision-making processes, and European project legislative and funding procedures;
- Proficient in English and French (written and oral). Another EU language is a plus;
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.);
- Ability to work and cooperate cross-functionally;
- Intellectual curiosity;
- Excellent relationship-building and teamwork skills;
- Initiative and autonomy.
