Your Role

  • Support the Communications & Advocacy team with its core advocacy-driven communications activities, including the coordination of events (both on-site & digital)
  • Helping with the coordination of the logistical support, including speaker outreach, registration set-up, contact with suppliers, communication with participants, etc.
  • Monitoring important events in relation to EBC activities
  • Represent EBC in external events and/or members’ congresses
  • Creating content related to the EBC events/members’ congresses as well as the EBC projects for EBC social media accounts (X, LinkedIn & YouTube)
  • Regular upkeep of EBC websites (EBC, Brain Innovation Days, European Brain Foundation)
  • Drafting & sending newsletters (weekly & monthly)
  • Supporting the team in general day-to-day, including project execution, graphic creation, campaign planning & brainstorming of ongoing & new initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong command of English
  • Knowledge of event management, some experience highly ideal; external communications background
  • Experience with design/graphic tools (i.e., Canva, Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign,...)
  • Experience in professional communication on social media
  • Basic knowledge of the EU institutions & policy landscape is ideal for EBC communications
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-paced environment, attention to detail & proactive attitude
  • Ability to work in a team as well as work independently & take ownership of assigned tasks
