This is a fully paid internship under the Convention d’Immersion Professionnelle (CIP)

Pax Christi International is seeking a motivated and creative Communications Intern to join our team in Brussels. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent communication graduate or someone with a similar background to gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment and contribute to our mission of promoting justice and peace.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in and support the planning, creation, and scheduling of social media content across platforms including X, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Help maintain an active online presence by engaging with our supporters and other key stakeholders.
  • Update and maintain the website with relevant content.
  • Design simple visuals for social media and the website.

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate in communication or a related field.
  • Excellent written and oral English skills. Knowledge of French and Spanish is an asset.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Ability to manage social media accounts and create content using social media management tools.
  • Knowledge of web management tools, particularly WordPress.
  • Design skills (videos, graphics, etc.) in Canva or similar design tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Curiosity and adaptability.

A strong interest in peace, justice, human rights, and ecological sustainability, along with a desire to work for an NGO, is highly valued.
