About us:

ESL Rivington European Affairs, a subsidiary of the ESL Rivington, part of the ADIT Group, is a consultancy specialised in European Public Affairs and strategic advice, which has been present in Brussels since 1996. ESL Rivington EA advises and supports companies, international organisations, institutions and public figures across a wide range of economic sectors (Health, Environment, Transport, Security, etc.). With offices in Brussels, Paris, Dubai and Rabat our expertise covers the local, national, and European levels.

What we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Trainee in EU affairs to join our Team in Brussels as of mid-September 2024. The role includes daily monitoring of various issues (legislative and non-legislative), conducting background research, drafting newsletters and policy briefings and providing overall support to more senior staff members.

Profile:

  • Master’s degree in political science, law, economics or a related field
  • Good editorial skills and the ability to analyse and summarise complex political issues
  • First experience in an EU / national institution, public affairs consultancy or association
  • Good knowledge of EU legislative procedures and institutions, knowledge of a member state is a plus
  • Perfect command of English and French; German language is a strong asset
  • Proficient with IT and new media tools

Our offer:

The internship provides a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience with a diverse range of topics in an international context. We offer a full-time internship of six months, starting in mid-September 2024. The traineeship will be regulated under CIP (Convention d’immersion professionelle).
