For our Brussels-based Headquarters, we are currently looking for a: 

 

Graphic Designer & Video Editor 

We are looking for a Graphic Designer & Video Editor, who can create visually compelling designs and engaging video content that effectively communicates messages. An ideal Graphic Designing and Video Editing candidate will be one with knowledge of the latest designs and Adobe suits software, who would be able to take directions from written or spoken ideas and translate them into captivating designs that connect. 

Tasks: 

  • Creating visuals for different channels (social media, website, events…) and adapting them in different formats 
  • Developing visual concepts from a wide range of products, such as: infographics, publications, rollups, posters, backdrops, leaflets, presentations, social media visuals, carousel, web banners, short videos/animations, and event branding design 
  • Suggesting the appropriate photographs, illustrations, icons, charts or other graphic elements 
  • Determining the overall look or style of campaigns, projects or/and assets and create guidelines and templates
  • Setting up for EPP events
  • Updating of EPP website. 

Requirements: 

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field (or equivalent experience of at least 3 years) 
  • Proven work experience as a graphic designer and video editor, or in similar roles 
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of graphic design and video editing projects, demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and a variety of styles can be an added advantage 
  • Being creative, imaginative, and curious 
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, After Effects, Premiere) 
  • Experience with programs such as Flickr, Mailchimp is not a prerequisite but is considered an asset 
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress 
  • Being able to record short videos/take photos 
  • Being able to work efficiently in a team and individually 
  • Being resilient and have ability to work under-pressure 
  • Fluent in English 
  • Experience in party politics is not a prerequisite but is considered an asset. 

Conditions of employment: 

  • Working contract is under Belgian Law 
  • EPP pays a competitive salary according to Belgian legislation and Social Security 
  • Additional benefits will be provided in the salary package 
  • Starting date: as soon as possible 
  • Duration contract: open-ended contract
