Exploiting the latest advances in AI to fast-track the development of the Channel and its digital properties, while responding to new user patterns. Coming up with responsible, innovative solutions to improve our tools and products and sharing these improvements with other players in the sector. These are the challenges we are offering you, as part of a newly-created team, over the next years.
The team is expected to be part of a strategic ARTE initiative and will be made possible thanks to specific public funding. This support will enable the project to be implemented for a defined funding period, at the end of which the project will end.
As Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining and prioritising the AI team's product roadmap, working closely with stakeholders. You will ensure that the solutions developed meet business needs, from design through to implementation by ML developers and engineers. You will also be responsible for the management and quality of the training data needed to develop the models. Finally, you will ensure the deliverables are relevant and impactful for our users and our business teams.

Your duties

  • Prioritise and implement the strategic roadmap for AI products, ensuring they align with the company's objectives, changing usage patterns and the ongoing transformation of the industry.
  • Design and define AI-based solutions in close collaboration with the business and technical teams.
  • Manage and prioritise the product backlog while supervising development cycles with a lean, agile approach.
  • Guarantee the quality and impact of the solutions by regularly evaluating and optimising their use.
  • Effectively coordinate all stakeholders (in-house teams and external partners) to ensure successful launches and adoption of the solutions developed.

Your strengths

  • Pragmatic and user-focused, you are able to transform technological innovations into concrete, impactful solutions.
  • An excellent communicator, you are able to bring together and motivate multidisciplinary teams (technical and business) around common objectives.
  • Strategic and organised, you are able to identify business needs and prioritise technological opportunities, distinguishing relevant advances from mere trends, in order to maximise their impact.
  • Results-focused, you manage your projects meticulously, guaranteeing their relevance and operational success.

Your profile

  • Master's degree in a related field and/or at least 3 years' professional experience as a Product Owner.
  • Good knowledge of French and/or German; fluency in English essential.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing technological solutions with a strong user impact.
  • Familiarity with agile and lean methods.
  • Experience in the media sector is a plus.
