About Europod

Europod, an innovative podcast agency in Brussels, is looking for an early-career journalist with editorial and communication skills and an understanding of the EU. Working under the COO, the candidate will host and manage a daily podcast on European current events and contribute to various editorial tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Host a daily podcast on European affairs and a monthly conversational show.
• Stay updated on European news, curating and preparing brief, engaging news flashes.
• Record and edit podcasts, promote them on social channels, and engage with listeners.
• Attend editorial meetings and represent Europod at events across Europe.
• Support other editorial initiatives.

Required Skills

• Storytelling: Ability to make complex topics engaging and accessible.
• Vocal Skills: Skilled in tone and modulation for audio media.
• Audience Engagement: Knowledge of techniques to maintain listener interest.
• Project Management: Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Languages: Fluent spoken/written English; French comprehension or other languages are a plus.
