Reporting to: New Business Director 
 
Purpose: Assistance with daily new business, new media partnerships management, new lead generation and account management.
 
Hours: Full time (09:00-18:00). Work outside of these hours may be required depending on the agenda, for which time off in lieu will be given.  
 
Holidays: 15 paid holidays per year 
 
Salary: 1120 EUR / month first six months; 1400 EUR / month following six months 
 
Main responsibilities: 
 
Monitoring the EU Affairs market, and providing insights about stakeholders
Media landscape monitoring and competition analysis
Providing input for partnership development pitches and proposals
Supporting the development of outreach and marketing strategies
Assistance in presentations for clients and prospects
Managing and updating commercial databases through CRM
Assisting daily with office management and administrative tasks.
Supporting the jobs.euractiv.com growth with:
- awareness and brand building through marketing campaigns and sales materials
- commercial outreach to agencies & relevant players in the recruitment market (calling, mailing, LinkedIn)
- closing deals & packages
 
Person specification: knowledge and experience 
 
University education: Communications, digital marketing, business management, EU studies, media studies
Knowledge of/Interest in the “EU Affairs” market in broader sense, i.e. corporations, industry federations, civil society and consultancies
Digital and internet savvy 
 
Personal attributes 
 
Proactive, flexible, detailed oriented
Open to new challenges and opportunities
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and dynamic environment
You can think quickly and work well in a fast-paced environment.  
Very organised and able to face tight deadlines 
Willingness to learn, proactiveness, multi-tasking
Able to work independently and as part of a team carrying out multiple tasks or projects
