As such you will prepare and write press releases in close collaboration with Copa-Cogeca’s policy advisors, ensuring their effective promotion across all digital platforms (website, intranet, social media). You will also coordinate responses to press inquiries.
You will participate in weekly policy team meetings, providing advice, presenting media reports, and coordinating the publication calendar.
You will propose and guide creative concepts for our in-house graphic designer to best illustrate posts and publications.
You will contribute to internal communications by preparing a weekly briefing and a daily newsletter for colleagues and members, as well as updating content on our intranet.
On occasion, you will support communication efforts for events, EU projects, platform collaborations, and the launch of publications & position papers.
Profile:
Two profiles will be considered:
- Press & Media Expertise: You have solid experience in press relations or have worked as a journalist at the EU level.
- Agriculture & EU Policy Expertise: You have in-depth knowledge of European farming issues and a strong interest in communication and press relations.
Key Qualifications & Skills:

- Familiarity with the European media landscape and/or extensive knowledge of EU agriculture policy debates.
- Basic experience with CRM/ERP tools, mass mailing, and web publishing is essential.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills, flexibility, willingness to learn, and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
What we offer:

A competitive package which includes private pension fund, lunch vouchers, and other benefits.
