IDDE - Institute for Direct Democracy in Europe
Company Description
The Institute for Direct Democracy in Europe is a European Foundation whose doctrine is to discover, promote and popularise policy tools and all institutional components relating to direct democracy in the member states of the European Union.
The foundation’s principle activity is to attract and assemble researchers, writers, theorists, economists, journalists, sociologists and all other political actors holding an alternative vision to the current representative democracy in Europe.
It is critical of the current federalist turn that the EU is taking and promotes a Europe of sovereign nation states.
