Overall Purpose of Job: To support the coordination of the IDF Europe Youth Programme and the organization of the Youth Leadership Lab
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Supporting IDF Europe’s Youth Programme and activities;
- Supporting the IDF Europe Youth Engagement and Strategy Lead
- Supporting the IDF Europe communication officer in promoting youth activities on social media and ensuring effective dissemination;
- Organising and coordination the IDF Europe Forum and the Youth Leadership Lab in collaboration with the Youth Steering Committee, the IDF Europe office and the host organisation;
- Drafting reports, presentations and other material related to the Youth Programmes;
- Performing various administrative tasks linked to the programme;
- In addition, supporting other work of the IDF Europe Secretariat as required.
Desired profile
- Excellent social, organisational and leadership skills;
- Ability to plan and prioritise;
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural setting;
- Outgoing personality and a team player;
- Sound knowledge of online communication tools and techniques;
- Experience or interest in European level youth policy and engagement
- An interest in health issues; experience in diabetes or related clinical field would be an asset;
- Excellent written and spoken English, with knowledge of a second/third language an asset;
- Right to live and work in Belgium without requiring a work permit.
