Unioncamere Europa asbl, based in Brussels, is looking for a Junior Policy, Projects & Training Officer (full-time).
Main requirements:
- At least 6 months’ experience in one or more of the following: EU policy work, project implementation/management (e.g. EU-funded), and/or design and delivery of training (workshops, webinars, internal academies)
- Knowledge of the EU institutions and key files on sustainability, tourism, blue economy and competitiveness.
- Excellent drafting skills (policy notes, reports, slide decks).
- Italian and English: excellent (written and spoken); French is a plus.
- Strong organisational and project-management skills (timelines, deliverables, basic budgeting and reporting).
- Confident with digital tools (Office/Google, LMS, Zoom/Teams, Canva/PowerPoint).
- Team player in an international environment, with proactivity and problem-solving attitude.
Conditions:
- Full-time contract (6-month probation period).
- Location: Brussels.
- Starting date: 01/01/2026.
Key responsibilities:
- Policy: monitor EU legislative/regulatory initiatives; draft analytical and summary notes; support working groups and representation activities.
- Projects: contribute to the active search for funding calls, partnership building, work packages/deliverables; coordinate activities with partners; data collection and reporting; basic administrative support.
- Training: instructional design (programmes, materials); deliver webinars/workshops for Chambers and SMEs; learning assessment and feedback.
- Events & communication: organise and cover meetings; contribute to the newsletter, website and short information pieces.
- Stakeholder engagement: liaise with members, partners and institutions; support thematic task forces.
- Willingness to take short trips within the EU.
