To support our continuous commitment we have a fantastic opportunity for a Global Advisor Welfare, Sustainability and Compliance to join our team. This role reports directly to our Global Vice President for Welfare, Sustainability & Compliance.
The Role
You’ll join a dynamic team and will be responsible for advising and developing strategies to manage relationships and policies with both internal and external stakeholders across the areas of animal welfare, sustainability and compliance. The role will have a European focus, however, will require international travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing relevant stakeholders regarding policy and regulation
- Monitoring legislative and regulatory developments and developing strategies to influence policy outcomes
- Advising Aviagen Group of impending or potential threats to products or processes
- Facilitating and helping to further strengthen the link between R&D and commercial teams within the business
- Developing materials in conjunction with the Global and Regional Marketing Teams to communicate Aviagen practices to various audiences
- Providing strategic support to relevant Aviagen Group specialists and business units
- Representing Aviagen Group at business and industry meetings
The Candidate
You will be qualified to degree level in either a science or political based degree with a proven track record in a political lobbying environment, with an ability to influence colleagues and stakeholders regarding best practice. You will be able to demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills including the ability to problem solve.
