With 55 members in 53 countries, our mission is to strengthen cooperation between operators, contribute to a sustainable and innovative postal sector, and represent our members’ interests towards EU institutions and other stakeholders. Headquartered in Brussels, we play a key role in shaping EU policies that impact the postal and delivery sector.

Position Context

As part of the continuous evolution of PostEurop’s Headquarters and its commitment to excellence in member coordination and policy engagement, we are opening the position of EU Policy Coordinator.

This role replaces the former “Junior Policy Analyst” position with a renewed focus on technical coordination, proactive member engagement, and internal alignment. It reflects the growing importance of structured collaboration within PostEurop’s internal bodies, supporting our EU public affairs and sustainability priorities in light of the evolving EU regulatory framework.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Your role will be to provide coordination and high-quality support to PostEurop’s EU and sustainability-related internal structures:

  • European Union Affairs Committee (EAC)
  • Environment, Social and Governance Transversal (ESGT)
  • Security and Customs Transversal (SCT)

This role will include a daily co-operation with and support to the EU Policy Manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • EU Policy Monitoring & Advocacy
    • Monitor EU policy and legislative developments relevant to the postal sector.
    • Maintain internal monitoring tools (dashboards, regulatory updates).
    • Coordinate preparation and distribution of advocacy materials (position papers, consultation responses, letters).
  • Stakeholder & Member Engagement
    • Gather and format input for strategic documents (Manifesto, Sustainability Vision).
    • Support event organization: agendas, presentations, logistics, notes, and follow-up.
    • Maintain online stakeholder databases, event calendars, and document repositories.o   Represent PostEurop at external events when delegated.
    • Update EU Transparency Register entry.
    • Coordinate internal surveys: questionnaires, feedback reports.
    • Coordinate the annual CSR “Coups de Coeur” competition: documentation, entries, jury process, awards, press release, CSR brochure.
  • Internal Structures Coordination
    • Provide technical and administrative support for meetings of EAC, ESGT and SCT governing bodies (plenaries, steering groups).
    • Coordinate working groups (primarily Postal Directive, E-Commerce, Transport and Environment, ESG Reporting, and Social Affairs Committee).
    • Prepare planning and reporting materials for the Board and General Assembly.
    • Ensure information sharing across PostEurop’s internal structures.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in European Studies, Public Policy, Management, or related field.
    • Master’s degree is an asset.
  • Knowledge & Skills
    • Understanding of EU institutions, policy processes, and regulatory environment (postal/logistics sector knowledge is a plus).
    • Working experience in relevant field 2-5 years.
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
    • Excellent English (C1+); French or another EU language is a strong asset.
    • Proficiency with MS Office and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Outlook).
  • Personal Attributes
    • Service-oriented, proactive, and adaptable.
    • Comfortable working both independently and in a multicultural team.
    • Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.
