Now, we’re looking for a passionate regulatory affairs professional with a couple of years of experience to join our team, collaborate with brilliant experts, and work together to support the glass fibre industry in thriving across Europe!
Main Responsibilities
• Monitoring and analysing European policies and regulatory developments impacting glass fibre manufacturing and product applications, covering topics such as climate policy, sustainability and health & safety requirements; reporting pertinent information to member companies
• Contributing to the activities of internal regulatory working groups and committees
• Participating in expert groups in coalitions
• Supporting the analysis of statistics
• Liaising with the European institutions and with other stakeholder organisations
Profile
• University degree in a relevant field to the position (e.g. political science, law, chemical or material engineering)
• 2-4 years of work experience in European regulatory or public affairs
• A curious mindset with a strong willingness to learn and grow professionally
• Ability to digest complex legislation and to handle multiple topics simultaneously
• Strong organisational and analytical skills, with attention to detail
• Self-driven, ability to work efficiently and independently as part of a small team
• High proficiency in English, knowledge of French or another EU language desirable
• Strong skills in the use of IT tools

The position, under a Belgian contract, is initially limited to two years, with the aim to extend afterwards.
