
Senior & Principal Consultants R&I
We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant and a talented Senior Consultant to join our dynamic Research and Innovation Team in our Brussels office.
In this role, you will work across a diverse range of projects, including evaluations of EU and national funding programmes and agencies, regulatory impact assessments, research and innovation policy related analyses, or technology assessments. Your work will involve contributing to high-impact analytical projects or conducting in-depth analyses of technological transformation trends across the EU and globally. Your work will support evidence-based policymaking.
Applicants suitable for these positions should have:
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience for the Principal position, including at least 4 years in public sector consultancy.
- Three to five (3-5) years of professional experience in contributing to strategic studies and evaluations for the Senior position, with a solid understanding of EU policies.
- Master's degree in economics, political science, or related field.
- Extensive experience in developing and shaping innovative research approaches, producing high-quality reports that cover a broad range of themes and methodologies.
- Strong expertise on technical skills in designing and executing research projects using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
- Proven experience in leading successful proposal writing.
- Knowledge of recent developments in European Commission; policies, in particular in science, technology and innovation.
- Ability to deliver tasks under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and analytical skills, with the ability to draw insightful conclusions from quantitative and qualitative data.
- Coordination skills, including the ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines, with an interest in supporting and growing project management skills.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential and fluency in other European languages is considered an asset.
- Strong experience in foresight methods is a plus.
The successful candidates will :
- Contribute to the growth of our R&I practice, by developing robust and innovative methodologies (quantitative and/or qualitative).
- Play a strategic role in business development, including leading the preparation of proposals
- Design and deliver policy studies and evaluations.
- Produce and present reports and deliverables of high quality.
- Foster strong relationships with clients.
- Lead projects and teams and oversee projects delivery.
