The ideal candidate is a service-oriented individual who proactively contributes to the delivery of Connect Europe’s policy activities in the field of tech and telecoms, with at least 4 years experience. The new recruit will: (1) initially co-manage, and then fully manage, a selection of Connect Europe’s working groups, (2) develop and consolidate position papers and other relevant material, (3) ensure the timely and thorough monitoring of all the relevant debates, events and gather relevant information that feeds into the Association’s policy work.
About the Responsibilities:
- Working Groups (WGs): assist in the preparation of Connect Europe WG meetings and help ensure the proactive and efficient participation of members in the meetings.
- Supporting policy & regulatory colleagues: carry-out all WG-related activities in close collaboration with the policy & regulatory affairs team, support in developing and consolidating position papers and other Connect Europe documents.
- Content & monitoring: gather relevant material that feeds into the Association’s policy work, monitor all the relevant information sources – including but not limited to EU institutions websites and publications, prepare reports on stakeholder/institutional events, support in disseminating relevant information for the Members.
About the Requirements:
- Necessary skills:
- You have a clear understanding of the functions of the EU Institutions and have good knowledge in the field of tech policy;
- Prior work in an Association and/or an EU Institution would be a strong asset, as would a background in tech or telecoms.
- Well-versed in using the latest AI tools for improving productivity and efficiency.
- Open to some travelling, especially in Europe.
- Experience:at least 4 years.
- Languages:full English proficiency in speaking and writing is a must; very good knowledge of other EU languages an asset.

- Service-oriented and comfortable working in a member-driven association, which operates on a consensus-building basis.
- Good at multi-tasking, committed, caring, willing to learn, comfortable in a multi-cultural and fast-moving trade association environment.
