The Opportunity
The EAA is seeking a candidate for a part-time employee, intern (a last-year student) or a part-time freelance consultant to support the Executive Office in Brussels. Working closely with the Executive Officer, you will contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of an international academic association while gaining hands-on experience in association management, event organisation, member services and digital communication.

Main Responsibilities
Depending on your interests and experience, your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting the daily administrative activities of the EAA Executive Office.
- Assisting with the preparation and organisation of EAA conferences, workshops, committee meetings and virtual events.
- Providing support for membership administration, member enquiries and database management.
- Assisting with budget monitoring, financial administration, invoice processing and follow-up of expenditures.
- Supporting the maintenance and updating of the EAA website and other digital platforms.
- Assisting with social media planning, content creation and communication campaigns.
- Helping prepare newsletters, promotional materials and member communications.
- Providing basic IT support for office systems, online meetings and event platforms.
- Preparing reports, presentations and documentation for internal meetings and governance bodies.
- Supporting special projects and other operational activities as required.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who:
- Is organised, reliable and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Has excellent communication skills in English (additional European languages are an asset).
- Has strong digital skills and is comfortable using Microsoft Office and online collaboration tools.
- Has an interest in communication, social media, IT, finance and event organisation.
- Enjoys working in an international and multicultural environment.
- Is proactive, eager to learn and able to work both independently and as part of a small team.
- Has a work permit and is based in Brussels
