The European Chemical Employers Group (ECEG) is a recognised social partner and a consultation body of the European Institutions and other stakeholders for employment and social affairs in the chemical industry. The headquarters of the organisation is in Brussels and is supported by national experts from the member organisations.

We are looking for a project and policy assistant for our office as from September 2025.

Duties mainly include:

  • Assistance in the organisation of meetings and conferences, including Social Dialogue meetings on the EU level,
  • Support the team with management of EU-funded projects and policy research,
  • Writing newsletters and correspondence,
  • Office organisation, scheduling and coordination.

We expect:

  • Accurate and independent work,
  • A committed and flexible team player,
  • Social media skills,
  • Very good knowledge of English, good command (oral and written) of French, German is a plus,
  • A high degree of discretion.

We offer:

  • A positive working atmosphere in a small, dedicated team,
  • An interesting and challenging working experience in an international environment,
  • 6 months of traineeship with the possibility of extension. The contract will follow the Contrat d’immersion professionelle, according to the Belgian labour law.
