Mobility policy intern
The Centre on Regulation in Europe (CERRE), a European think tank specialised in digital, energy and mobility policies, is looking for a skilled and motivated intern for its Mobility practice. This is an up to six-month internship .
This position provides an opportunity to apply your knowledge in this field and to have a hands-on experience in the European energy, mobility and sustainability (EMS) sectors.
Your responsibilities
The Mobility intern will work on:
- Establishing a mapping of mobility-related stakeholders in academia, politics and industry
- Analysing research opportunities and identify potential study consortia
- Following the political debate and priorities for the next EU term in the field of mobility and network industries
- Providing support to the delivery of multiple research projects in the EMS practice:
- Organising and preparing project meetings & conference calls
- Facilitating engagement of members & external stakeholder
- Contributing to dissemination activities
- Working with the Communications team on the organisation of research project-related (and other types of) events
- Contributing to the drafting of newsletters, alerts, etc.
- Arranging meetings with EU policymakers & other stakeholders
Your profile
- First exposure to relevant content, such as the future of rail, the European mobility data space
- Very organised, detail-oriented, delivers fast against deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent team player, solution-oriented
- Excellent command of written & spoken English (other languages always a plus)
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft suite
- Ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders
- Basic understanding of EU policymaking
