ECA represents European professional pilots at the EU level, advocating for aviation safety, social rights, and quality employment for pilots.

We are seeking a Junior Aviation Safety Coordinator to support our technical and related advocacy work on European aviation safety policies. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Support and advise on ECA's technical and advocacy work on aviation safety policies (e.g., Flight Time Limitations, Training & Licensing, Human Factors, Aviation Security).
  • Organize and facilitate expert meetings, working groups, and external representation.
  • Conduct research, draft position papers, and liaise with EU institutions, including EASA and stakeholders.
  •  Represent ECA at conferences, working groups, and international meetings.

Profile:

  • Background in aviation (education or operational flying experience) or degree in European studies or similar.
  • Relevant professional experience up to 3 years.
  • Knowledge of EU institutions and decision-making (an asset).
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written).
  • A self-starter with strong project management skills, curiosity, and a fast-learning mindset who adapts easily to new challenges.
