Job description
The steady growth of the organisation requires hiring motivated and skilled personnel.
To that end, we are now looking for a Senior Policy and Science Officer with a strong scientific background and research experience, who will focus on topics related to the health and environmental regulatory assessment of pesticides, contributing to PAN Europe’s overall vision of reducing pesticide dependency across Europe.
The Senior Policy and Science Officer will be reporting to our Head of Science and Policy. The objective of this role is to support PAN Europe’s work, improve the implementation of EU law to better protect human health and the environment from any harm caused by pesticides.
For this specific role you will need to have a scientific background in a scientific discipline as well as sufficient knowledge on regulatory risk and hazard assessment of chemicals, such as pesticides, and experience working with European Institutions.
