The International Federation of Anthroposophic Medical Associations (IVAA) is expanding its Communications team to strengthen the understanding of Anthroposophic Medicine and the visibility of its contribution to people’s health and wellbeing. Through coordinated, evidence-informed communication, the team develops content that translates scientific evidence, clinical expertise, and patient perspectives into clear and engaging communication for professional and public audiences.
Role summary
The Project & Communications Assistant provides administrative, organisational, and digital communication support to the IVAA Communications team. Working closely with the Communications Manager, the role supports the day-to-day operation of the Communications team while assisting with the publication of content across IVAA’s digital channels.
Main responsibilities
The role combines project administration with digital communication support. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the organisation of meetings, documentation, and project administration.
- Maintaining project records, contact databases, and SharePoint documentation.
- Drafting, publishing, and maintaining website and social media content in collaboration with the Communications Manager and other content creators.
- Formatting and finalising communication materials, presentations, publications, and other resources for publication and distribution.
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the IVAA Communications team.
Candidate profile
We are looking for a proactive, well-organised professional who has:
- A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Communications, Administration, Project Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in project administration, communications, or a similar role.
- Excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of German and/or Spanish is an advantage.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365; experience with SharePoint and website content management systems is an advantage.
- Experience working in an international, non-profit, or healthcare environment is desirable.
