UNI Europa Graphical & Packaging, in partnership with Intergraf, has launched an EU-funded project to attract a new generation to the graphical sector. The “Print Your Future 2” project which will run for 2 years (24 months) from 2026 onwards and is contracting external expertise to support us in our work towards achieving the project objectives.

The project addresses one of the graphical industry’s most pressing challenges: an ageing workforce, persistent recruitment difficulties, and a perception problem that makes printing appear outdated to young people — despite the sector’s modern technology, sustainability credentials, and strong collective bargaining culture. PYF2 aims to reshape that image. Through targeted communication campaigns, video content, social media strategy, and engagement with vocational education institutions, the project will speak directly to young people across selected European countries. It will connect printing to young people’s everyday interests (comics, board games, packaging, design) while showcasing the real opportunities, job security, and inclusive workplaces the sector offers. In parallel, PYF2 will strengthen the capacity of social partners to engage with the Graphical Sectoral Social Dialogue Committee (SSDC).

The ideal candidate will be an expert in creative communication, video production, and digital campaigns targeting young audiences. The selected subcontractor will work across multiple tasks: a video production phase delivering up to 14 videos in various formats (animated infographics, real-footage interviews, YouTube collaborations) and a dissemination phase covering social media strategy, a multilingual leaflet and an update of the Print Your Future website.
