logos is looking to hire a Senior Communications Consultant to join its fast-growing team in Brussels, Belgium in the heart of the EU bubble. We are a consultancy part of the mci group [1] - an independent global marketing communications collective with 60 offices in 31 countries.
logos specialises in communication, public affairs, event and association management.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will design communication strategies for our clients (including social media plans and video scripting).
This includes:

• Drafting communication materials in line with our clients’ vision, objectives, political asks etc.
• Identifying key stakeholders and influencers, as well as compiling a solid media database
• Engaging with journalists and pitching articles and editorials
• Strategically identifying relevant and engaging content
• Overseeing the organisation and delivery of speaking commitments and tradeshow participation for our clients
• Creating compelling visuals to be used in internal and external communications
• Participating in weekly internal corporate communications activities
• Supporting other activities assigned to the communications team (e.g. copywriting)

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

• You are eligible to work in the EU and available to join the team on short notice
• You have a master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations or International Relations
• You have a passion for communication, are creative and understand the ins and outs of digital influence
• You have at least 3 years’ experience in communication and have drafted communication and social media plans before
• You have an excellent command of social media publishing and analytics tools (Google Analytics) to produce regular reports
• You have keen interest in design and a basic knowledge of adobe InDesign and Illustrator
• You are well-organised, pay attention to detail and have the ability to meet deadlines
• You demonstrate intellectual curiosity and strategic thinking
• You have a keen interest in topics such as sustainability, mobility, space and defence
• Excellent written and oral communication in English is mandatory (native speaker or equivalent); knowledge of other European languages is a big plus
