Youth Programme Coordinator Intern

 Start date: as soon as possible

Overall Purpose of Job: To support the coordination of the IDF Europe Youth Programme and the organization of the Youth Leadership Lab

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting IDF Europe’s Youth Programme and activities;
  • Supporting the IDF Europe Youth Engagement and Strategy Lead
  • Supporting the IDF Europe communication officer in promoting youth activities on social media and ensuring effective dissemination;
  • Organising and coordination the IDF Europe Forum and the Youth Leadership Lab in collaboration with the Youth Steering Committee, the IDF Europe office and the host organisation;
  • Drafting reports, presentations and other material related to the Youth Programmes;
  • Performing various administrative tasks linked to the programme;
  • In addition, supporting other work of the IDF Europe Secretariat as required.

Desired profile

  • Excellent social, organisational and leadership skills;
  • Ability to plan and prioritise;
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural setting;
  • Outgoing personality and a team player;
  • Sound knowledge of online communication tools and techniques;
  • Experience or interest in European level youth policy and engagement
  • An interest in health issues; experience in diabetes or related clinical field would be an asset;
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with knowledge of a second/third language an asset;
  • Right to live and work in Belgium without requiring a work permit.
