logos is looking to hire a Junior Consultant (paid internship) to join its fast-growing team in Brussels, Belgium in the heart of the EU bubble.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You will join the Defence, Space and Aviation team at logos, supporting the organisation of our flagship policy events and implementing advocacy strategies for our clients.
This position is intended for a junior professional with a keen interest in both public affairs and communications. Key responsibilities include:
- Contribute to and support the organisation of our flagship events: the European Space Conference and the European Defence and Security Conference (speaker management, partnership implementation, website and social media updates, etc)
- Monitor defence, space and aviation matters
- Support the senior team in drafting timely insights and deliver ‘client-ready’ written reports and briefings
- Map and analyse key media influencers
- Draft copy for web, press outreach and event promotion
- Regularly post and schedule content on clients’ social media feeds (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, Bluesky) including simple visual design (Canva)
- Assist with content and production of podcasts
- Use media listening tools to gather insights on how to maximise impact (e.g. Meltwater, Hootsuite)
- Analyse social media performance and produce reports with statistics and lessons learnt
- Contribute to logos business development and marketing activities.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
- You have an interest in politics and a master’s degree in European Affairs, International Relations, Communications or Public Relations
- You understand key Defence, Space and Aviation topics and can map out Brussels ‘EU Bubble’ stakeholders accurately
- You have a good knowledge of EU institutions and decision-making processes
- You have strong research skills, ability to synthesise information and extract key messages
- You have previous experience in drafting media and social media plans
- You are able to successfully manage a Facebook/LinkedIn page, a X/Instagram feed for clients including associations, public organisations and companies
- You are well-organised, pay attention to detail and you have the ability to meet tight deadlines
- You are curious, with the ability and will to deep-dive into technical topics
- You take a solutions-driven approach to work
- You have excellent written and oral communication in English (native speaker or equivalent); other European languages are a big plus
- You are available to join the team at short notice
