Job Purpose
As part of MedTech Europe’s Communications team, the Communications Intern is responsible for
supporting different projects aligned with MedTech Europe’s communications, digital platforms and media strategy. The Communications Intern will report to the Director Communications.
Responsibilities
Media monitoring:
- Monitor daily media alerts
- Daily dissemination of news to relevant colleagues
- Creation of ad-hoc media reports
MedTech Europe internal & external newsletters:
- Collect and edit content for newsletters
- Support the set-up and the dissemination of regular interna and external newsletters
Digital platforms and social media:
- Support the management of MedTech Europe digital platforms
- Source and create content for MedTech Europe’s social media channels
- Support the social media monitoring & reporting
- Daily use of Mailchimp, SharePoint, WordPress and Office Suite
Communications support on MedTech Europe activities:
- Support team in communication objectives and projects
- Updating the staff about MedTech Europe communication activities
- Ensure all databases and documents are always up to date
- Provide further assistance as required
Must-have skills
- Proven excellent writing skills for online as well as offline content
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English
- Ability of creating powerful presentations, ensuring both compelling content and visually appealing design
- Familiarity with the EU healthcare landscape
- Proven ability to formulate and articulate clear messages about complex subjects
- Reactiveness and proven experience in taking responsibility
- Meticulous/eye for detail
- Digital savvy
- Proactivity
Nice-to-have skills
- Graphic design skills (familiarity with Adobe package)
- Knowledge of communications strategy development and execution processes
- Fluency in other EU languages
- Presentation skills
Internship Details
- Duration: 1-year full time (39 hours a week)

- Remuneration: Convention d’Immersion Professionnelle (CIP)
