Europe’s Médialab is a “Think-And-Do Tank” for a healthy media sector in Europe, also ‘reconnu d’utilité publique. The MédiaLab – initially Fondation Euractiv – has the same founder as the media Euractiv (which has been sold to Mediahuis in 2023).
THINK:
- Advocates for EU policies promoting media independence, sustainability and pluralism in Europe (see these OpEds, co-signed by its Founder, with other stakeholders)
DO:
- Train and exchange for media innovation: Stars4Media EU project + latest Stars4Media Day with 2 EU VIPs September 2024 and January 2025

Communication Assistant (intern)
(Contrat d’Immersion Professionnelle)
Possible starting date: October 2025
Contract: Contrat d’Immersion Professionnelle (6 months, renewable for another 6 months)
Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for a young professional to gain hands-on experience in media, EU affairs, communications, and project support. You will work closely with the organisation’s leadership to enhance productivity, visibility, and impact across EU projects, philanthropy, and public-private partnerships.
Main tasks will include:
- Support high-level contacts and networking
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, proposals, and public relations materials
- Maintain databases, update contact lists, and support CRM systems
- Help coordinate the organisation’s presence at external events and conferences
- Provide logistical and administrative support for travel, meetings, and events
- Support communication & social media
- Manage travel, agenda & logistics for trips & events
Profile:
- Master’s Degree in Business, European Studies, Political Science, Communications
- Strong interest in EU affairs, fundraising, and communications
- Already some experience in Brussels EU bubble (recent graduate with no Brussels experience need not apply)
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, knowledge of French or Eastern European language is a plus
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small, agile team
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong IT skills, especially with MS Office, Google Workspace, and digital collaboration tools
