Role Overview
This role supports the communications objectives of CropLife International, spanning both internal and external communications. The ideal candidate would have a keen eye for graphic design, visual identity, be tech savvy and adaptable to new platforms and changing communications landscape. The role works closely with the CropLife International team, members, and network, supporting the advocacy priorities of the association.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the digital reform of communications, assess new platforms and opportunities as appropriate.
- Be a topic leader in the team for graphic communications, visual identity and social media.
- Support the communications team in delivering high impact communications materials, including visuals and infographics.
- Enhance the visual impact of external documents like PowerPoint presentations, briefing notes etc.
- Support the team in their external events and other support as needed.
- Support tracking and reporting on communications and organizational KPIs, including compiling key metrics/results, maintaining dashboards, and helping monitor progress against targets.
This role description is not prescriptive and the post-holder may be required to undertake other responsibilities reasonably required by the External Affairs team in order to support and fulfil the purpose of the role.
Desired competences and experience
- 2 years of professional experience in communications, visual design, graphic development, visual identity or other relevant experience.
- Social media savvy.
- Adaptable and flexible to multiple requests for support to team members and association members.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Good task manager, able to keep on top of multiple tasks and ensure their delivery.
- Project management skills is an asset.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Relevant information for candidates
- The successful candidate will be part of a three person communications team, led by the Communications Director. The communications team is part of the External Affairs department, led by the Vice President of External Affairs.
- CropLife International currently operates a hybrid working model, with a maximum of two days home office per week and fifteen days working in an EU location outside of Belgium per year. This policy is subject to pre-approval.
- Successful candidates are expected to be flexible and adaptable to fluctuating workflows and be open to international travel as needed.
