ROSA Media is an independent media network in Greece with distinct social culture and strong presence in the social media market. We are looking for a video producer and editor who will be part of our growing team and contribute to our content at both the website and the social media accounts. 

As video producer and editor, you will have an opportunity to further develop your skills in a dynamic newsroom, and in contact with your colleagues online and offline you will be part of ROSA’s expansive strategy in the media and cyberactivism landscape. 

Your main tasks

  • Create engaging, entertaining, and informative videos.
  • Edit and prepare short-form engaging video content for social media that aligns with the brand's tone, voice, and culture.
  • Brainstorm concepts for social media platforms that resonate with the target audience.
  • Use video editing software to create and edit high-quality native video content.
  • Optimize video content for various platforms, including different aspect ratios, caption styles, and video lengths.
  • Ensure that all video content adheres to quality standards.
  • Provide creative input and feedback to other team members.
  • Adapt to feedback and make adjustments to videos as needed.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the brand's target audience and develop content that resonates with them.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest social media and video trends to inform content creation and ideation.
  • Manage video production schedules and ensure that all projects are delivered on time.

Major Requirements

  • Experience in video editing, with a portfolio of work that includes social media content.
  • Proven track record of creating engaging and high-quality video content for social media.
  • Experience working with social media teams and other creatives to develop content strategies.
  • Familiarity with various video formats, including vertical, square, and videos.
  • Knowledge of copyright and fair use laws as they apply to video content creation.
  • Strong presentation, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills to effectively deliver work of high quality promptly.
  • Highly accountable, responsive, and have an excellent ability to meet deadlines.
  • Great aptitude for working with people, problem-solving, and thinking critically / analytically.
  • Possesses a growth and results-driven mindset, and can handle and implement constructive criticism 
  • Any remote work experience is a major advantage. 
  • Familiarity with working autonomously and managing your time.
  • Must be available and responsive during office hours.
  • Being open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism and improving on it, as well as giving feedback of similar nature productively to your team.
