GL Events Live EU is the Brussels-based operational branch of GL events Live, dedicated to the European institutions and international organisations. The branch is fully integrated in GL events, the world leader group in event services with more than 5,000 events produced every year on five continents and over 40 venues managed around the world.

Combining the strengths of a strategic and operational event communications consulting agency and an event services provider, the Live division offers all expertise required to design, produce and stage your face-to-face, hybrid or digital events successfully.

We are now looking to reinforce our team with a project assistant based in Brussels.

If you are passionate about event organisation, willing to learn, creative, dynamic, ready to work in an integrated team and to dive into event organisation for EU institutions, this position is for you.

You will assist our project team in preparing tenders and developping projects :

  • Participating to the definition of event concepts
  • Assisting in overall coordination
  • Assisting in developing communication strategies
  • Organising services to participants
  • Managing venue search, set up, catering, security
  • Proposing moderators and speakers
  • Assisting in project administration and budgets


  • A very good professional level of English and French is requested as all the tasks and internal meetings will be held in both languages.
  • Other European languages are a plus.
  • Very well organised, curious, proactive and good at prioritising and handling challenging deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • A good command of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc. is also necessary.
  • Experience in project management tools and processes.
  • Knowledge in graphic design tools is a plus (Adobe creative applications: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, PDF, etc.).
  • Knowledge and interest in online events tools and sector are a plus.


  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or any equivalence by experience.
  • A first experience in event planning is a plus.
